You know how we know? Because you are here, checking out CPP! Our clients are some of the coolest in Sarasota county, with great taste, and varying styles. It's our goal to take their dream and turn it into their dream home; but that all starts with their dream.

First, find a company, a contractor, that you get along with and wants to realize YOUR dream, not theirs. I can't tell you the number of clients we get that tell us that they were pushed into one direction or another by their contractor without any explanation as to why. Flooring put in without client approval, wrong materials, etc. Worse still are those clients who have come to us who have been completely ghosted by their contractors; their projects sitting in limbo and they are our of ideas. Don't get me wrong, we love to save the day, but Geez! What an avoidable heartache.

Second, whether it's with us, or any other of the great contractors that there are in Sarasota county, please do your homework. Ask to see pictures of work in progress and complete. Ask for references. Ask those references whether the contractor came in on time, and on budget. Ask them if they would do another project with the same contractor, or would they look for someone else. If a contractor won't provide you with references, RUN!
